RichmondDance opens its doors to all children in the local area. We have anumber of classes to try for all ages. The open day  is designed to getparticipants to try as many classes as they want to help them decidewhichcourse they would enjoy signing up to.Each class will  give them a brief overview of the different dance types of classes that we offer in our courses

Cost: £5 per child (on the door) for as many classes as you wish

We at Richmond Dance want to help you keep your new year's resolutions by being fitter in 2010! We now have an incredible variety of different classes available all week long, for all age groups and levels.

Wether you're new to dancing, a performing veteran or your dusty sneakers are screaming for air at the back of your closet - we will have a class to suit your needs (and your budget!)

Members of Richmond Dance, Zooperfly and SCZ Cheerleaders dance "Thriller" on Halloween in the streets of Richmond.

Starting at 8:15 from Richmond Dance at the station, the 'Zoombies' danced their way through Richmond High Street and up to the Odeon cinema, non-stop for 45 minutes.

A mob of camera phones were flashing as bewildered passers by stopped to watch the Halloween spectacle.

We would like to thank all of the people involved for making Halloween Thriller such a fun night and successful event, making this an important milestone since Richmond Dance opened a year ago in October 2008.

This beginner's course is taught by Melissa,  Artistic Director of BabyBliss Girls and the creator of the exclusive 'Belly dance hiphop' classes in London.

As a professional belly dancer Melissa has made her mark captivating andinspiring the world! As a teacher she is well known for her approachand teaching methods with a reputation of making you sweat!

Melissa'sunique style, radiant performances and dynamic choreography have earnther a positive reputation and an ever growing following. She is wellknown for her energy, charisma and passion for what she does best.

The Richmond Dance team is happy to announce that we will be startingdance classes for children from 3 to 12 years old from September.

Classes run termly, at £80.00 per term (excluding SCZ Competition Squad classes) and include the following styles:

• First Steps (3-5 yrs)
• Hip Hop
• Jazz / Modern
• Pom Dance
• Cheerleading

Richmond Dance instructors have a wealth of experience working with children of all ages - and enjoy nothing more than passing on their passion for dance to the younger generatons. All of our instructors are CRB checked and fully qualified within their dance specialty.

Taught by highly experienced instructors, our focus is to keep a high ratio between instructor and pupil numbers ? we have a maximum of 12 pupils to one instructor in order to guarantee that every pupil receives a certain amount of time with their teacher. We have a range of classes for children aged 3 to 12. Teenagers are welcome to join our adult classes.

At Richmond Dance, we teach our pupils a lot more than dance: our programmes are designed to teach children of all ages principles of life skills such as teamwork, social interaction communication, trust, expression and discipline through the mediums of movement, rhythm and music.

Dance encourages confidence, self discipline, social skills , co - ordination, fitness and grace amongst many other benefits. It is a joy to express yourself through the movement of dance!

Come and visit us on a Friday or Sunday for a free class at out new studio! The studio is still in the same building, so we are still conveniently located at Richmond Station

Richmond Dance & The Zoo  would like to officially launch theZooperfly Hip Hop group, by entering the Senior Hip Hop division at the FUTURE CHEER INTERNATIONAL CHEER & DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS on the 4th of July, and follow the steps of the already successful SCZ Cheerleaders.
